DIEP Flap Breast Reconstruction in Houston, TX

46 year old female who underwent immediate breast reconstruction post left breast cancer diagnosis. Bilateral breast reconstruction with expanders was performed. Patient was expanded for 4 months prior to her second stage reconstruction that consisted of DIEP flap. After 3 months post DIEP Flap reconstruction, bilateral nipple reconstruction and liposuction of hips and flanks with fat grafting was performed to contour the body, providing the patient an increase in upper breast fullness. 8 weeks post final procedure the patient opted for areola tattooing.
